Whipped Shea Butter (pure & unrefined) is a new product i've added this week. I can't believe how popular it is - 4 pots sold already in 5 days - 1 is on its way to Finland!!

What is Shea Butter - we've all heard of it but where does it come from & what benefits does it have for my skin?

Shea Butter is extracted from the Karite tree in Africa. It has superb moisturising properties, absorbs easily into the skin without blocking the pores & allowing your skin to breathe. It can also help a number of skin ailments, eczema, dry skin, sore & inflamed skin, cracked skin, acne, sunburn, rough skin on heels, shaving, razor burns, athletes foot, lip balm, blisters, scars, stretch marks, blemishes, dermatitis & a whole lot more.

Shea butter contains Vitamins A & E & an abundance of essential fatty acids. It also protects the skin from the suns harmful rays (I don't recommend this in place of sun protection creams but as an addition).

The addition of essential & carrier oils can enhance the properties of shea butter & you can have a tub of luxurious moisturising cream blended just for you.

This has got to be the most natural way to protect & heal your babies botty from nappy rash. It can be used on its own or with the added benefits of lavender & camomile oils. A little goes a long way.

Add a tiny amount to a bath & lie back & relax as the butter melts & moisturises & nourishes your skin. Pat skin dry to leave skin feeling silky smooth.

If anyone has any questions about shea butter, can it help a particular ailment, which essential oils would be added for specific ailments, contact me at helen@scentsiblesolutions.co.uk
